Deputy Speaker KWHA, Ojo Olayiwola facilitates, Commissions NSCDC Office in Ipee, Oyun LG
As part of efforts to protect the lives and properties of the citizen, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Tuesday, commissioned a new divisional office in Ipee, Oyun local government area of Kwara State which was financed by the Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Ojo Olayiwola Oyebode, in a bid to enhance security in the community.
The Commandant of the NSCDC Kwara State Command, Dr. Umar JJ Mohammed, during the commissioning commended the Deputy Speaker for his relentless support and contribution to security institutions in the state and Asiwaju of Ipee land, Chief Olabode Afolayan for the donation of Hilux bus to be used for patrol. Dr. Mohammed assured the Ipee community that the new division will improve operational efficiency and tackle security threats.
Community members can sleep with their eye closed, farmers can go back to farm at any time, kwarans should be rest assured of maximum protection for their live and properties”, said.
He described the support as a giant supports that will make their works more effective and efficient, he therefore promises to equip the edifice with proper suffocated equipment for smooth working of offices with additions of 20 more officers to the divisional office.
He therefore appreciates the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRazaq Abdulrahman for the support he had given to security agency in the state to ensure security work is achievable in the the state.
While he present an award of commendation and letter to the RT Hon Ojo Olayiwola Oyebode, he discribe the him as special man who’s is so much cherish his people and love them.
The Deputy Speaker, Hon. Oyebode, in his speech, acknowledged the current security challenges faced by the country and commended the efforts of the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRazaq Abdulrahman, in curbing crime. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in security matters and urged residents to report any suspicious activity to the security agencies.
On his part, Onipe of Ipee land, Oba Dr Mufutau Adebayo Lawal appointment the Commandant of NSCDC Umar JG Mohammad, and RT Hon Ojo Olayiwola Oyebode for working tirelessly to safeguard the lives and properties of Ipee and it’s environ, he therefore besiege for the support of the community members to help the security officers to secure their life and prosperity
The commissioning ceremony was also attended by the Onipe of Ipee land, Oba Dr Mufutau Adebayo Lawal, Onira of Ira land, HRM Oba Abdulwahab Oyewale Oyetoro, Onijagbo of igbajo land, HRM Oba sharafudeen Adeniyi Buhari Ilufemiloye 1,TIC of Oyun LG, Dr Abdulwahab, APC chairman Oyun LG, Mallam Kamaldeen Olarenwaju Akanbi, Hon. AGF Salaudeen, Hon. Bamigboye Joseph Olajide, Hon. Muhammad Baba Saliu and other dignitaries.
