The Nigeria Customs Service said it will be partnering with the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, to organise a workshop on trade facilitation.
According to a statement released on Thursday, the acting Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, disclosed this when he hosted a delegation from NACCIMA, led by the president of the association, Dele Oye in Abuja.
Adeniyi also said that the collaboration will ensure success in trade facilitation and foster a better future for trade in the country.
“The Service will join hands with NACCIMA to organise a sensitisation workshop for the two parties,” he said.
Earlier, the NACCIMA president, Oye, congratulated the acting CGC on his appointment.
He also commended his exceptional steps towards leading the NCS to a better height and his significant approach to regulating trade industries in the country.
