Amofin Titilope Akogun, President, Barrister Titilope Akogun (BTA) Foundation has Congratulated His Royal Majesty Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye, the Oloro of Oro Kingdom on his coronation as the new Oloro.
Akogun in his Congratulatory message said the successful coronation after his nomination by the kingmakers and subsequent approval and appointment by the government further demonstrated his popularity and acceptance by his people.
The BTA boss said Oba Titiloye’s track record of being a stunt promoter and advocate of culture and heritage would assist in no small measure in piloting the affairs of Oro Kingdom to an enviable height.
He noted that his zeal for promoting his indigenous language, dressing, lifestyle, art, and culture globally began from childhood and inspired by his late father, Prince Titus Oyatoye Titiloye.
Barrister Akogun expressed the optimism that Oro Kingdom under Oba Titiloye, with the support of Oloro-In-Council and other critical stakeholders, will witnessed the desired growth, progress and socio-economic development.
The politician cum philanthropist described the choice of the young monarch as a blessing to Oro Kingdom and well-considered decision that reflects the progressive direction of the people.
Akogun said his selection, appointment and coronation is also a testament to a brighter future for the youth populace and a lesson for the youth to imbibe diligence, honesty, good morals and immense affection for their route and lineage right from their formative age.
The BTA President, however, pledged the full support and cooperation of the foundation and members to the new Oloro in his efforts to lead Oro Kingdom into a prosperous era, while reaffirming the readiness to work closely with him in promoting cultural heritage, community development, and the well-being of the people.
Amofin Akogun prayed for God’s divine grace, wisdom, guidance, protection, sound health and the wherewithal for the new traditional ruler in bringing the desired transformation and development to the kingdom.
