During Friday’s Juma’at Khutbah, the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Solihu OON, placed curses on three categories of people concerning AbdulRahman Balo Idi-Isin, who murdered Lawal Hafsoh Yetunde, Just Event Online TV reports
He invoked curses on AbdulRahman himself, those praying for his freedom, and all individuals involved in the killing of humans for ritual purposes, including both sellers and buyers.
In his sermon, the Chief Imam strongly distanced himself and other prominent scholars from acts of ritual killings and other social vices. He warned those engaging in such heinous practices, or planning to do so, to desist immediately, stating that their secrets would continue to be exposed.
The congregation in hundreds, raised their voices in unison, supporting the Chief Imam’s call for justice and moral uprightness in society.
