The Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria (CIPPON) kwara State Chapter has causioned against practicing the profession without proper licencing and registration.
CIPPON is a professional corporate body established by Act 24 of 2007 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is charged with the duty of Regulating, Managing and Controlling the business of printing and allied matters in Nigeria.
In a conversation with the Journalist, the Kwara State Cordinator of CIPPON Sulaiman Muhammed Oloyin highlighted the importance of having valid CIPPON licence.
He said the holder will be able to practice without any distrupt and or disturbance by the Institution.
He however noted that there is heavy sanctions on any printer who practices without proper CIPPON licence
