In a bid to push its scholars to work harder, Countryside Emerging Leaders Fellowship (CELF) has urged its beneficiaries to be more committed to their studies, assuring them that arrangements have been concluded for the payment of the third tranche of their tuition fees.

The CELF Publicity Secretary, Dr Saadudeen Abdulrasheed, who gave the assurance during the “Performance Review and Evaluation” meeting held at the CELF Office in Ilorin, stressed the need for the scholars to be good ambassadors of the fellowship as well as their communities.
The Secretary added that the prompt release of funds to the beneficiaries should serve as a motivation for them to excel in their academic endeavours.
Also speaking at the event, a member of the CELF committee on media and publicity, Mr Basheer Lukman, encouraged the scholars to graduate with good grades for them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the CELF team.
He advised them to take their education very seriously and avoid acts capable of distracting their attentions from their studies.
Speaking on her academic experience, Victoria Oladosu, a 200-Level student of the Department of Public Health, Kwara State University, expressed her appreciation to the CELF organisers and donors, promising to excel in her academic performances.
In his own response, Muhaz Usman, a 200-Level student of the Department of Material Science and Engineering, Kwara State University, Malete, said there was an appreciable improvement in his academic performances, as shown in his second semester results, compared to that of the first semester, which, according to him, was as a result of his more dedication and commitment to his studies.
In attendance were some of the scholarship beneficiaries. They included: Adeshina Bidemi Joy (300-Level, Public Administration), Fasikun Grace (200-Level, Biochemistry), Muhammed Jamiu (200-Level, Public Health Science), Abubakar Aisha (200-Level, Biochemistry), Oladosu Victoria (200-Level, Public Health Science), all from the Kwara State University. Others were Jiyah Saba(100-Level Chemistry Education, Kano State University, Wudil), Tijani Ibrahim (100-Level, Chemistry, all from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin.
Two students of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, who were also beneficiaries, Isiaq Fasilat (ND II, Banking and Finance) Sheu Abdulmuheez (ND II, Computer Science), were also in attendance.
