CCTV: KWSG Restates Commitment to Security

 

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq has restated its commitment to install Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in all nooks and crannies of the state.

Governor Abdulrahman stated this on Wednesday while declaring open a Two-Day workshop on Sustainable Peace and Security in the Local Government Area as an Antidote for Good Governance organized by the Kwara State Local Government Service Commission held in Ilorin, the state capital.

Governor AbdulRasaq, who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Security, Alhaji AliyubMuyideen regards Kwara as the most peaceful state in Nigeria, adding that the government would continue to ensure Kwara is a crime free state.

In his remarks, the State Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Umar Danladi-Shero commended Governor AbdulRahman for approving the settlement of all the arears for local government staff, owed by the past administration.

Alhaji Danladi-Shero said the Commission is preparing the collation of the twenty-twenty-four promotion exercise for those that are due for this year’s promotion.

The State Chairman Local Government Service Commission then implored the participants to translate all the security tips during the workshop to local government staffers

In her Goodwill Message, the Commissioner -two in the Commission, Hajia Mariam Abdulwasiu-Omotayo appreciated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for his fatherly support for the success of the training and advised the participants not to keep the knowledge gained during the training but to spread for the development of the state.

In her remark, the Commissioner three in the Commission, Mrs Elizabeth Olabinpe appreciated participants for their cooperation during the training, urging them to sustain the tempo.
