In an engagement with the newsmen in Ilorin on Friday, he expressed confidence the Supreme court judgement will be in his favour
Ajuloopin who occupied the incumbent seat of the Constituency contested for the Senatorial seat also tried to retain his position in the House of Representatives.
It will be recalled that the court of appeal sitting in Ilorin had ruled that the duo of C.O. Adebayo and Ajuloopin may proceed to the Supreme court to claim their candidacy
The court had earlier held that the incumbent House of Rep member representing Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero federal constituency, Raheem Tunji Olawuyi, having contested kwara south APC senatorial ticket and lost to incumbent Lola Ashiru, lacks the legal right to contest for the House of Rep ticket of the party under same election period.
Adebayo restated that the election that affirmed his candidature was credible, free and fair.
Those who are jubilating over their said victory have secretly appealed judgement at the supreme court, how does that count? he said.
He however enjoined Nigerians to seek authentic and truthful representation for dividenceof democracy to be achieved.
I will be victorious and confirmed as the candidate for Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, he added.
