Saraki described the news of Prince Ayodeji Oni’s demise as shocking and devastating, mentioning that he had the opportunity to work with him during his tenure as governor of Kwara State. Prof. Ali Ahmad highlighted Prince Ayodeji Oni’s selflessness, dedication, and substantial contributions to Kwara State, emphasizing that he would be greatly missed.
