The BTA Foundation has announced the next phase of its empowerment initiative, aimed at supporting small-scale entrepreneurs across Kwara South. Initially designed to benefit 50 individuals across four Local Government Areas, the program was expanded to 65 beneficiaries in response to the overwhelming number of applications received.
In line with the Foundation’s earlier statement, the presentation of POS terminals and startup capital is being carried out in batches on a weekly basis.
This was contained in a press statement made available to Just Event Online TV on Saturday morning
The first set of beneficiaries from Ekiti Local Government will receive their POS terminals and cash grants on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. Subsequent distributions will take place in Isin, Oke Ero, and Irepodun LGAs, respectively.
The BTA Foundation has built a strong reputation for its innovative, grassroots-focused trainings and empowerment programs, which have consistently provided opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs to establish and grow their businesses.
Speaking on the initiative, the Founder, Amofin Joseph Titilope Akogun, emphasized that the Foundation’s empowerment programs are open to all, regardless of background or affiliation. “You do not need to know anyone to benefit. This is about integrity, fairness, and our commitment to redistributing wealth for the growth of Kwara South,” he said.
This empowerment program is just one of the many impactful initiatives through which the BTA Foundation continues to contribute to economic growth, youth development, and community upliftment in Kwara South Senatorial District.
