President Bola Tinubu has sworn in first batch of the ministers-designate after screening and confirmation by the senate.
The event, which kicked off at 10am, at the banquet hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola.
The first set include: Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi; Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Nkiruka Onyejeocha; Minister of State, Gas Resources, Ekperikpe Ekpo; Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy and Minister of Education, Tahir Maman.
The other ministers-designate are expected to be sworn-in shortly.
