A new book titled “The Social Doctor” was launched on Saturday at the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, Hall 2.
The author, Abdulqudus Olansile Ibrahim while speaking with Just Event Online TV about his inspiration for writing the book.
He said The Social Doctor was written to help people cope with grief and depression. He said, “I’m not the only one facing challenges; there are others out there who need information and social support.
As human beings, we tend to experience social challenges, but with what’s written in my book, people will find solace and comfort, and their lives will be normalized.”
Ibrahim said he dedicated the book to his late father, who he said inspired him to write.
Hon. Barr. Oba Abdulkadir Magaji, Leader of the 10th Kwara Assembly, commended the author and urged other youths to emulate him in making the society a better place.
Dr. Wasiu Tejidini, Ag. GM KWASSIP, expressed his delight at seeing a young person achieving great things, saying, “This means the future of the state is very bright.”
