
The Bi’zinillah Widows’ Islamic Foundation a charitable organization established to support widows on Sunday held its annual Ramadan lecture and food distribution program.
The event aimed to uplift the lives of widows in the Ilorin community by providing them with food items and other necessities.
In his speech the founder of the group, Sheikh Abdulazeez Uthman believe that everyone deserves a comfortable life, and they strive to make life easier for widows by providing basic needs and assisting them in establishing small businesses.
Speaking futher, he said the foundation relies on charitable donations from the well meaning individuals in the society to fund its programs either in cash, or items
Our foundation’s long-term goal is to establish a network of widows who can live comfortably and independently, we believe that by supporting widows, we are contributing to a more peaceful and harmonious society, he added
In his sermon , Dr Issa Al Imam Gambari enjoined the organisers not to be discourage because the task is challenging and complex

On his part, Sheikh Abdulrasaq Muhammad Jamiu Janjalute, appreciated the founder of the foundation and urged him to continue in supporting the less privileged as the reward is unlimited as describe on the holy Quran
