Ilorin, Kwara State – November 11, 2025 – The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) heartily congratulates His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, on the momentous occasion of his 30th anniversary on the throne of his forebears.

This remarkable milestone shows His Royal Highness’s enduring leadership, wisdom, and commitment to peace and progress in Ilorin Emirate and beyond. Over the past three decades, the Emir has been a symbol of unity, guiding the people with compassion, integrity, and foresight.

“His Royal Highness has been a beacon of stability and a supporter of development initiatives across Kwara State,” said Nurah Jimoh-Sanni, Executive Director of BBYDI. “His moral guidance and deep commitment to justice continue to inspire generations, particularly in promoting education, tolerance, and community harmony.”

BBYDI also acknowledges and appreciates the Emir’s unwavering support for our advocacy and development initiatives, particularly in the areas of youth empowerment, good governance, and the fight against gender-based violence (GBV). His public endorsement of our campaigns has encouraged greater community participation and strengthened partnerships with traditional and religious institutions.

Under his leadership, the Ilorin Emirate has remained a model of peace, mutual respect, and collaboration. These values align with BBYDI’s mission to build inclusive and sustainable communities.

“We are profoundly grateful for His Royal Highness’s continued support for our work,” Jimoh-Sanni added. “His advocacy for education, women’s empowerment, and moral integrity has reinforced our collective mission to create a society where every individual can thrive.”

As the Emir marks this anniversary, BBYDI celebrates the longevity of his reign and the depth of his service. His dedication to education, cultural preservation, and interfaith dialogue has left a lasting legacy for future generations.

The organisation joins the Ilorin Emirate and the entire nation in praying for His Royal Highness’s continued good health, wisdom, and enduring reign.
