Basambo takes campaign to Ilorin South LG, describes his party as the only credible alternative
The kwara State’s Labour party gubernatorial candidate, comr. Basambo Abubakar, takes his campaign and grassroot consultation to the people of Gaa Osibi area of Ilorin South local government area of Kwara state
Speaking with the people of Gaa Osibi, comr. Basambo outlines the danger in the exuberant nature of the Nigerian traditional politicians and the effects on the social existence of the average citizen.
“We are used to see our politicians riding the biggest cars on the streets, the results is the lack basic amenities that we see all around us”
He also talked about how Nigerian politicians whitewash candidates that are not credible for their own benefits against the wishes of the average citizen.
comr. Basambo, however, urged Kwarans to take see beyond the merely visible and go to the polls with their minds on the future rather than the immediate gains that has been the tradition in Nigeria since inception.
Responding on behalf of the party faithful, Isiaq Muyideen Okanlawon, appreciated Comr. Basambo Abubakar for coming, pledged to mobilize all other community members to vote massively for all the candidates of the Labour Party from the Presidential to other seats in the forthcoming elections.
