Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been urged to prioritize the welfarism of the people especially the civil servants in the state.
Speaking on Saturday at a special prayers for his successful first term in office and continuity of good governance organized by Alhaji AbdulRauf Baba AbdulRahman, Alfa Lukman Isale-koto, Alhaji Sulyman Dan-Borno and Alh. Oba Abdulkadir Al-Budowyy enjoined the Chairman of Nigeria Governor’s Forum to treat his people specially and ensure all citizens enjoy the dividends of democracy.
The prayer led by the Chairman Kwara State Council of Hullamah and Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alh. Dr. Imam Basheer OON urged Gov AbdulRahman to secure lives and properties of the people, and ensure good living of the citizens.
Speaking with the newsmen, the Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi promised that 2024 budget will soon be passed, assuring Kwarans that the budget will bring immense development to the state.
“Kwarans should be rest assured that the budget, when passed, will favour the citizens in the nooks and crannies of the state”.
House Leader, Barr. Oba Abdulkadir Magaji commended Gov AbdulRahman for his development initiatives in the state, urging Kwarans to always support the administration for a more prosperous state.
The event was graced by the Members of the 10th House of Assembly, Traditional rulers, Religion leaders, political icons among others.
