The entire members and executives of Ajikobi ward chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, under the auspices of their Chairman, Comrade Abubakar Yusuf Garba, wish to appreciate the whole North Central Zone leaders of our great party for unanimously choosing our leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, as the consensus candidate for the number one seat of our great country.
As a man with multiple competencies, we want to assure the whole North Central structure that Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki is capable of the task ahead and will not disappoint the zone and the country at large.

A cursory look at his records from his political adventure under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Bukola demonstrated competence, character and capacity and also achieved beyond expectations at a time when it was uncommon to see a vibrant youth in governance. His ability and capability earned him a seat at the Federal Executive Council, FEC, even though he was not an executive member of such table.
Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki's eight year's period as the number one citizen of our dear state of harmony is nothing less than glorious. We are all aware of where Kwara was before he came in and the greater height the state was taken to by his administration. Kwara is one of the first generation states on paper but the reality reflected opposite when Dr. Bukola Saraki became the state governor. His achievements across critical sectors gave him the nickname "Super Governor" at the time. Every sector felt the cool breeze of a new sheriff during his time as governor. His Infrastructural development can be described as nothing short of revolutionary, his tenure undoubtedly gave Kwara structures that were never-before-seen in the state. His vision for the Kwaran healthcare system was quite clear, as he was a trained medical practitioner himself, he brought many new structures such as the Advanced diagnostic centre and the Ilorin general hospital. His dreams for the future of Kwara state made him thought outside the box and built world class education system systems such as the Kwara State University and the Kwara State Aviation College Ilorin. All these giant strides and many more earned him the nickname "The Architect of modern Kwara". We can only help but talk bit about his achievements as a senator in the red chamber. As the chairman of the house committee on ecology, Dr. Bukola Saraki, raised a lot of critical questions about the impacts of the Nigeria petrochemical industry on the host communities. We should not quickly forget how loud Dr. Saraki’s voice was during 2011/2012 subsidy controversies. Dr. Saraki was the first to disagree with the daily subsidy figures from the Federal government on the floor of the Senate.
His Senate presidency was top notch, even though he was forced to operate in a toxic environment, Dr. Saraki gave his all to uphold the democratic principles of Rule of law with constant and objective checks on the executive arm of government. You can't write the history of the Nigerian democracy without mentioning his name. He has gave his whole and all for this country. We hold no doubt about the fact that he has all it takes to run the country effectively.
We also want to seize this opportunity to urge other geopolitical zones of peoples' democratic party to follow suit in adopting our great leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, as their unanimous candidate for a harmonious Nigeria and a stronger PDP.
Once again, we want to appreciate the stakeholders of our great PDP in the north-central region for standing with capacity and capability. We assure you of nothing short of "a super presidency"
