APC Isin LG hold general meeting, reaffirm supports for Gov Abdulrazaq

Members of All Progressives Congress (APC ) in Isin local government area of Kwara State on Thursday held her monthly general meeting in Isanlu Isin.

In his opening remark
commended the leadership of the party in the state for maintaining peace and harmony in the party, noting that APC is one In Kwara State and will continue to have victory

Hon Awogbade applauded Kwara State Governor for his unwavering effort in restoring Kwara lost glory, he prayed to God to continue protecting and guiding.

Speaking further, Obawe pleaded to the traditional rulers in Isin local government not to intervene in politics as 2023 elections are fast approaching.

“You are our father and we are politicians please leave us with our game, don’t endorse any aspirant or candidates let the people choose the leaders that will represent them,” he said.

Speaking earlier, Honorable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Raji Rasaki commended the leadership of APC in Isin local government for maintaining decorum and pledges to continue supporting any progressives team that wishes well for the governor

He, however, formally declared his intention to join the house of representatives race to represents Ekiti/Irepodun/Oke-Ero/Isin federal constituency in the 2023 general elections under the platform of APC

For his part, house of representatives aspirant for Ekiti/Irepodun/Oke-Ero/Isin federal constituency , Engr. C. O Adebayo insisted that the best way to sustain a performing government is through continuity, adding it is what necessitated the birth of ‘Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Continuity Movement’

Speaking on his ambition, he said he will do things differently in a positive way if given the mandate to represent versatile people of the constituency, he said.

He donated sum 250 thousand to the party

Similarly, another house of representatives aspirant for Ekiti/Irepodun/Oke-Ero/Isin federal constituency, Mr. Oladayo Otunola appreciates APC LG for the general meeting and urge the chairman to make it a fortnight so every progressive member will rub minds together and prepare for the task ahead
He donated sum 250 thousand to the party

Another aspirant Dr. Toba Oloyede who is ably represented by his mum, Mrs. Oloyede commended the Isin APC Chairman and the executives, saying Isin is leading in all ramifications.

“I bring you a good message from my son who is aspiring for Ekiti/Irepodun/Oke-Ero/Isin federal constituency, he is unavoidably absent but he asked me to give all the eleven wards and party executives 1.1 million nairas and from myself and my husband we support him with the sum of 200 thousand naira”

“Dr. Toba has been supporting the party and he will continue to do so”, she said.

Speaking earlier , Chief Gbenle Adeyemi who is aspirant for Ekiti/Irepodun/Oke-Ero/Isin federal constituency donated sum of 1.2 million naira to the party , posited that his love for APC second to none , i lost to Hon Raheem Ajulo at primaries in 2018 but despites that i didnt leave the party

Honorable commissioner for planning, Deborah Banigbe appreciated the party executives, elders, and members for supporting the administration of Gov AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman.

“I am overwhelmed with the turnout, its shows Our party has total control in Isin LG, Gov AbdulRazaq is giving our local government necessary attention which is unprecedented and he prioritizes women.”

“He gave us (women) voice and giving enabling the environment to thrive, we can only appreciate him by supporting his reelection bid”

APC LG secretary, Elder Abogunrin gave insights on the polling units, he said there were 68 polling Units in 2019 but 12 new ones have been added making it 80 polling units in Isin Local Government

Elder Abogunrin called on the party executive at the ward level to work on how people can be registered in the ongoing voters registration

TIC Chairman Isin LG, Engr. Tunde Fadipe in his remarks appreciated the party executive for the meeting, which he said this timely

“This meeting will birth lots of progress in our local government and I’m verily sure other local governments will emulate us

Advising all the aspirants for National Assembly and state assembly to see each as brothers and have focus”
