For us at the Agbaji Development Association, the demise of our Mother is not just a loss to the Sarakis’ family but to the entire Agbaji community and by extension, Ilorin and Owo towns considering her love, care and kindness that trancends all boundaries.
In this moment of grieve, we commiserate with our leader, the President of Senate and Waziri of Ilorin, Senator Bukola Saraki , Senator Gbemisola Saraki, Mr. Olaolu Saraki ,the entire Sarakis’ family and the the good people of Owo over the demise of the Owo Princess.
Mama Morenike will be remembered as a strong pillar of support, a mother who loved and raised great leaders in the persons of the former Senate President and Senator Gbemisola Saraki both whom have positively impacted on the lives of Kwarans and Nigerians.
We are consoled by the fact that our mother, though had gone to join her late husband and strong man of Kwara politics, late Dr. Olusola Saraki (Oloyeee), the Saraki dynasty remains a reference point for generosity and breading home for quality leadership.
We also urged the Sarakis’ family and the good people of the princess of Owo to also take solace in the facts that both the late Oloyee and his departed wife, lived fulfilled lives by raising quality leaders.
