Adabata community holds special prayer for Kwara Gov, as Tunde Kannike joins HoA race

A special prayer and Ramadan Iftar was organized by the Adabata community in Ilorin West local government area of Kwara State for the second term bid of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq l and Kwara State house of assembly aspirant , Mall. Tundr Raheem Kannike

The prayer was an instance of the Islamic clerics, top government officials, politicians, APC members within Ilorin-West, and the entire Kannike family.

Leading the prayer, Imam Adabata, Alh Yahaya Imam-Adabata prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection during and after the forthcoming general elections and victory of Engr Tunde Kannike and re-election of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq.

In his sermon, an Ilorin-based Islamic preacher, Alfa Abdullah Olokun-Adabata advised Nigerians particularly politicians to always love one another for the unity of the country.

Alfa Olokun-Adabata advised individuals to love each other, be happy when others grow, and not to be envious of others as greatness is not about material wealth accrued but help that is rendered to others.

In his remarks, Engr Raheem Tunde Kannike, who is an aspirant to represent the Alanamu/Ajikobi constituency at the State House of Assembly said the prayer is to put Allah first in the struggle for the success of the party victory during the next year’s general elections.

Engr Kannike said he was persuaded to contest for the seat to represent the good people of his constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly.

The State House of Assembly aspirant assured the people of his constituency of good representation if elected as a lawmaker representing Alanamu/Ajikobi in the forthcoming general elections.
