Kwara State Commissioner for Youth Development, Harriet Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin on Saturday supervised the grading of 40km Ora road network in Ifelodun local government area.
Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin while inspecting the road linking 27 communities in Ora/Agunjin said the move is to complement Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq’s efforts in bringing dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
The villages linked by the road network include Abayan , Patako, Wande, Ita-olowo, Aireke, Opelade, Sanikoro, BudoAli, Gbofe, Balogun, Araromi, monosara, Oke-odo, Adigun, Oke-Ayo , Ora , Hawua River , Deseni , Araomi-Oke and Magbon.
The Commissioner who devoted her one month salary and still added more money to the grading applauded Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his passion towards the development of Kwara State.
She noted that the grading of Agunjin/ Ora road will bring succour to the road users and residents.
“I appreciate Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq for giving me the privilege to serve again in his Administration. His Excellency is passionate about development of the state and will continue to bring dividends of democracy closer to the people. I decided to embark on grading of the important road network in Ora/Agunjin axis to complement the good works of Governor Abdulrazaq’s Administration. “The grader will be here for 12 days to grade to complete the work” She added.
Osatimehin while addressing excited residents in Ora appreciated the Olora of Ora, community leaders, Senator Ajadi, Ifelodun local government TIC Chairman and other APC stalwarts in the council for supporting AbdulRazaq’s Administration.
Kazeem Razaq of Sani-koro village in his appreciation message said “ I am sure you don’t know how happy we are today in Ora Land especially in my community Aireke, Gbeofe,Opelade,Budo-Al, Sani-Koro axis. In my community Sani-Koro to Budo-Ali has never had the opportunity of having a graded/motorable road. Our fore fathers created the path with their bear foots. This is the first time in the history of the Community, which is over a century years old, this is happening to us. I pray God bless our daughter and our Amiable Governor ABDULRAHMAN Abdulrazaq.”
On her part, Iyaloja of Oraland, Hajia …..) thanked the commissioner for her kind gestures and drive towards community development.

We pray God continues to bless you and grant you all your heart desires . I also pray for Gov ABDULRAHMAN AbdulRazaq that Insha Allah he will continue to wax stronger , May The almighty Allah will continue to guide him.”
