Not long ago, I had a moment with him—one of those rare, golden interactions that linger in the mind like the last lines of a profound poem. It wasn’t the usual boss-to-staff exchange, stiff and transactional. No. It was a dialogue, fluid and enriching, stretching beyond politics into the vast plains of life’s realities. He listened—truly listened—not just to respond, but to understand. How many can boast of such an opportunity with their leaders? In a society where many in power are too busy to hear the whispers of their own staff, Rep. Shagaya stands apart, a leader who leans in, engages, and values the thoughts of those around him.
What struck me most was his reiterating mindset—a relentless focus on impact, productivity, and purpose.
