ITPA receives patron as training for security officials continues

In continualion of the phase 1 technology training for the security personnel (NSCDC and KWARTMA), the Information Technology Professionals Association ITPA in affiliation with Kwara State Computer Professional Association received their patron at the training ground

The patron, Omotayo Folorusho Joseph who is also the Publisher of Topstar Ltd, said the aim of the training is to give the security agencies right to be informed so that they can perform effectively.

He maintained that technology has brought the whole world into a small global village.

“If you are not informed you will be deformed. Information and technology is vital key to an establishment most especially security agencies”.

He added that the association is trying to ensure that the security outfit go in line with technology.

He however expressed optimism saying, a better security agency will be seen in the State by the end of the training. He encouraged Government to make available technological equipments for the security agencies to operate effectively. While urging the participants to utilized the skills efficiently during the course of their duties

NSCDC Officer, ASC 1 Oba AbdulKareem posited that the training has been a worthwhile experience. He maintained that it has broaden their view in helping the security architecture, adding that it will positively impact on the security operations.

He said it gives them more efficiency on the job, adding that Technological skills will help curb crime and criminality in the cyber world. He urged the participants to put what they learnt to good use

Also, Mallam Aliyu Mohammed Jamiu said, the state of insecurity in Nigeria is very alarming. He maintained that the use to technology is been adopted across the World, adding that Technological skill gives rest of mind. He commended the security operatives, saying they have been performing wonderfully well, urging them to do more in the area of intelligence gathering

“Without intelligence gathering, so many things would have gone wrong”

He commended the organizer for deeming it fit to contribute their own quota to the growth and development of the society

He however, called on we’ll meaning Nigeria to contribute positively to ensure that safety and security is guaranteed

Also a senior road traffic official KWARTMA, Basheer Lawal expressed joy to be part of the program. He said the training will provide a synergy between all security forces

“The training has taught me how to program my programs officially. I believe the government should embrace this kind of program and make it more elaborate for more people to benefit from

He prayed to God to strengthen the organization more and wished them success in their dealings

The instructor, Yusuf Mubarak Mohammed said, it is a pleasure impacting innovative knowledge that will be of help to the security agencies in safeguarding the State

He implored them to efficiently use the skills acquired in discharging their various duties
