Comr. Musbau Esinrogunjo, a PDP chieftain in Kwara State has charged the All Progressive Congress led by president Bola Tinubu to ease the suffering of the masses.
Speaking on Tuesday at his 45th birthday prayer and annual Ramadan lecture held at Esinrogunjo compound, Pakata, Ilorin, Comr. Musbau frowned to the hardship bedeviling the country, while charging the FG to take bold steps to improve the living standards of the citizen considering the hike in food prices and other commodities.
Esinrogunjo also charged the FG to always monitor the allocation given to the state to avoid diversion and used for the purposes meant for.
He equally advised Kwara State gov AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to do same by making life easy for the masses.
“The present administrator doesn’t have program for the masses as hunger is ravaging all over the country”.
There is hunger everywhere, it is so sad that in Nigeria today, there is govt of self being, and serving a nation is not by force, he added.
Kwara PDP secretary, Comr. Abdullahi Kayode described Esinrogunjo as a man of impeccable character and integrity. He prayed to God to grant him more years in good health.
Earlier In his sermon, Sheikh Uthman Sannu Shehu shed light on the Islamic perspective of birthdays, stressing that only Allah possesses the authority to bestow power upon whom He chooses.
He however congratulated the celebrant on the occasion of his birthday.
