The third edition of Play with Kwara Youth has again witness a massive turnout amidst huge success, as the winning team, Godfather emerges winner with 11 points
The event, aimed at fostering unity among Kwara youth, was massively welcomed by the youths irrespective of their political affiliation, Religious believe and ethnicity.
The third edition which featured Table Tennis, Ludo game, football showcased competition and exceptional skill.
Speaking with Just Event Online, Team Godfather who emerged the winner hailed the laudable initiative, hoping that the next edition is more bigger.
The convener of PWKY Yusuf Mutiu commended the youth of Kwara State for welcoming the idea of PWKY with open minds. He hoped that the event should continue reflect on peace and unity of Kwara youths.
He said the success of the third edition signifies the harmony and healthy competition among the youths.
He appreciated the support of Kwara Central Senator, Mallam Salihu Mustapha for his immense support, wishing him success in delivering youth of Kwara to a greater height.
He equally commended Speaker KWHA, Rt Hon Yakubu Salihu Danladi, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi among other notable stakeholders and personalities.
In her submissions, Commissioner for Youth Development, Nafisah Buge restated that PWKY bring harmony and friendship among the youths of the state regardless of party affiliation and background. She promised the state government support in all possible ways.
The third edition which witnessed an outstanding performances by Teams participating in the game, also witnessed presentation of awards for an outstanding individuals for their performances.
