In a statement made available to Just Event Online TV by the Convener of Kwara Must Change, Abdulrazaq Hamzat, the group noted that, the introduction of tax credit scheme for infrastructural development is a welcome development that would increase companies willingness to pay tax or utilize tax to develop critical infrastructure needed first in the immediate environment of industries aswell as its neighboring environment.
According to Hamzat, since Governor Abdulrahman came into office in 2019, he has made it a priority to make Kwara State a link between the federal capital and neighboring countries, thereby creating conducive business environment for international market in kwara north axis of the state.
“The approved roads are critical to the diversification efforts of the state government in positioning the state for international business, especially within the west Africa subregion and shifting kwara State away from being a civil servant state”
Hamzat therefore urges communities around the axis to cooperate with the authorities to deliver the project within reasonable time.
