A former Kwara State gubernatorial aspirant and Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Ajia Ibrahim (MAI) Foundation, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, has described as eventful and result-oriented the reign of the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR.
He explained that the symbol of the monarch’s leadership found expression in the transformation of the ancient town of Ilorin from just a city to a cosmopolitan status among its contemporaries.
Ajia, in a congratulatory message issued from London yesterday on the occasion of 26th anniversary of the Emir of Ilorin on the throne, said the people of Ilorin and Kwara at large have not had it so good until the first class traditional ruler ascended the covetous seat of his forebears.
The MAI Foundation boss noted that the ancient city of Ilorin has not ceased in counting its blessings, especially with own indigenes competing favourably in all endeavors and in many instances taking the lead among their peers.
Ajia, a security expert, rejoiced with the Emir for not only consolidating on the achievements of his predecessors but also endearing outsiders to the city with his visionary and exemplary leadership.
He further appreciate the topmost devotion of the Emir to periodic prayers for the success and wellbeing of all his subjects and the city.
The former gubernatorial aspirant prayed to the Almighty Allah to replenish the health of the monarch and grant him longevity of life to be able to do more for the city and humanity in general.
“I join eminent sons and daughters of the Emirate home and abroad to celebrate our revered royal father and foremost monarch, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, for clocking 26 years on the throne of his forebears.
