2023: Rukayat Shittu has achieved a great feat, APC National Women Leader, Dr. Betta Edu says

 

National Women leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Dr Betta Edu is currently playing host to the youngest Female Candidate of the party in the country, Hon Shittu Rukayat Motunrayo

Hon Shittu Morakinyo is the candidate of the APC in Owode Onire State Constituency of Kwara State and she happens to be the youngest female candidate of the APC in all elections.

The meeting which is taking place at the office of the national Women leader, APC National Secretariat in Abuja is to identify with the youthfulness and tenacity of the candidate to encourage active participation of young people in the electioneering process.

Speaking through her Special Adviser on political matters, Seun Bosede Osamaye, Dr Betta said the meeting is aimed at congratulating Hon Shittu for the courage she has displayed, the great feat she has achieved and use her as a point of contact to millions of young women in the country who are making impacts in different ways.

“This is a clarion call to all young women in Nigeria to come out of their comfort zones, get actively involved in the political process so they can get strategically positioned to maximize available opportunities in governance and the decision making process” She said.

While extolling the virtues of Hon Shittu, Dr Betta also called for an inclusive participation of youths in massive mobilisation for the success of the APC and the emergence of the party’s presidential candidate asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President in the forthcoming 2023 elections.

Hon Shittu Morakinyo expresses happiness at the recognition accorded her by the National Women leader and praised her for being a pillar of strength and encouragement for young women in Nigeria.
She pledged her loyalty to the women leader whom she described as “mother” role model super woman, while promising tod to join hands with her to ensure the success of the APC in the presidential election.
