2023: Kwara PDP joins North Central States, Declares Support for Saraki Presidency Ambition

Stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Kwara state chapter under the leadership of the state chairman, Hon. Babatunde Muhammed, on Thursday, joined other states in the North Central zone to declare support for the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, as the party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.

Speaking at the event, former PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, in his remark said, all north central Geo-political zones and the stakeholders had harmonized in supporting Bukola Saraki come 2023

Baraje maintained that only a President from the north-central can rescue Nigeria from its current state, adding that Dr. Bukola is more than capable of taking the country to greater height looking it from the edge of his previous achievements while serving as a two-term governor of the state, and the senate president

Baraje while responding to Just Event Online Correspondent, posited that the north-central zone must speak in one voice to actualize the ambition.

He however expressed gratitude and appreciated all the north-central committee present at the stakeholders meeting

Also, the former governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Muhammed Lafiaji maintained that the North Central zones must harmonize to actualize their dreams of voting and electing Saraki as president in the forthcoming elections.

Earlier, the state PDP chairman, Alhaji Babatunde Mohammed, said that the entire PDP is behind Saraki to realize the dream.

“Come 2023, we’ll win back Kwara state and get a presidential ticket to Saraki and win North Central for PDP come 2023,” he said.
