2023: Adaramaja canvass more votes for APC candidates as he welcomes decampees in Asa

In preparation for the 2023 general election, Professor. Abdulraheem Adaramaja, on Saturday organized a campaign rally for Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq and all other APC candidates with the aim of canvassing votes for the party.

The rally also feature the welcoming of decampees from the People’s democratic party (PDP) and Social Democratic Party(SDP) as hundreds defected from PDP, and SDP to APC in Otte-Oja, Asa local government area of Kwara state.

He also paid homage to the court of Alagua of Budo Egba, Mallam Issa Ibrahim and Alagua of Otte-Oja, Alhaji Yusuf Abdul.

In his speech at the court of Alaguas, Prof. Adaramaja said their visitation was just to seek royal blessing, not for the campaign. He appreciated them for their developmental contributions to each community.

While speaking with Newsmen, He said, he was not surprised by the number of decampees that he co-received with party stalwart today, because any progressive-minded person with a good vision for Kwara will be happy to support APC, especially the government of Governor Abdulrahman that brings light to Kwara.

He stated some achievements of APC in Kwara that made them decamp to APC and he also believes that more will still join their party

On his part, Engr. Musa Yeketi appreciated all decampees and assured them of equal benefit with other members.

The APC Kwara central Senatorial Chairman, Alhaji, Mahmud Turawa, while presenting the party flag to the decampees, he said APC is the only party with fairness and equity, urging them to work harmoniously with party old members.

The event had the attendance of Kwara central Senatorial candidates, Mallam Soliu Mustapha represented by Mr Hassan Gegele, representative of Muktar Sagaya, Alhaji Mufutah Akanbi Oke, party executives, among others.
