The Senator representing Kwara Central at the Federal constituency, on Saturday, empowered over 200 artisanss from Kwara Central through the Federal Government 2021 zonal intervention program
Oloriegbe said the intervention program is one of the key functions of the federal government being supervised by the Nigerian Stored Product Research Institute, NSPRI.
The Senator explained that the aim of the programse the employability of labor and to encourage entrepreneurship, enhance agricultural production and generate rural jobs across the country.
He added that both projects were testaments to the fact that the Nigeria Government in its bid to realize its vision of transforming the economy supported all sizes of businesses, whether small, medium, or large across the length and breadth of the country.
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq while at the event commended Senator Oloriegbe’s initiatives in facilitating such empowerment to the Kwara Central.
He, however, urged the beneficiaries of the empowerments to utilise what was given to them judiciously as they have become employer of labor in your various communities, he added.
Motorcycles, irrigation machines, a complete set of hairdryers, grinding machines, sewing machines, refrigerators, bricklayer materials, e t. c were given out to the artisans.
Beneficiaries on different interviews commended senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe and pledges their supports.
