The UITH Management, disturbed by the incessant power outages to its facilities, had to connect the electricity supply of the hospital to a dedicated line from Ibadan with a viable step down in a sub power station. The development before coming to fruition, made the hospital to incur a huge sum of money on diesel and PMS

According to Ajiboye, “we appreciate the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Professor A.D. Yussuf, for this giant stride and his untiring efforts at making this development a reality. The two plants have the capacities to churn out the needed units of oxygen for all her patients as the hospital produces its oxygen internally now, unhindered with the 20 hours uninterrupted power supply.
