The 17th memorial prayer for the late Rear Admiral Muhammad Alabi Lawal, former Governor of Kwara State, has been described as a compelling case study for everyone.
Just Event Online report, Dr. Mukhtar Lukman Isalekoto emphasized that despite being a politician, the late Muhammad Lawal stood out for his deep religious convictions, attributing this to his upbringing in a righteous manner and his commitment to righteous living.
He described Lawal as a shining example, urging others to draw inspiration from his life.
“Emulate Gov Muhammad Lawal so that your good legacy will remain relevant even after death,” Dr. Isalekoto urged, encouraging Lawal’s children to complete abandoned projects and make the best use of his properties.
A native of Ilorin, Lawal’s love for the city and its residents was noted before his tenure as Governor of Kwara State. Dr. Isalekoto stressed that Lawal’s virtuous character extended beyond his political role, making him a benefactor to society even before holding office.
