The Best Heritage Basic School, Ilorin on Friday celebrated it’s 10th year of existence and graduation ceremony.
The school which is situated at Oke-Fomoh, Ilorin is known for its academic excellence in both western and islamic education
In his lecture, the first guest lecturer, Mallam Ismail Mohammed stated the impact of knowledge for children, especially having an islamic knowledge. He urged both the parents, guardian and teachers to enrich their child and pupils with islamic teachings in order to follow the right path of Islam
Mallam Ismail equally advised the pupils to also shun worldly things and focus on their studied to better their future
The second guest lecturer, Dr. Ottan Jamiu Olatunji described Best Heritage School as one of the leading schools when it comes to quality service delivery
He advised that the tempo at which the school is operating should be maintained.
Delivering his farewell message, The Proprietor, Best Heritage Basic School, Alhaji Hussein Salman Sholagberu ably represented by the proprietress, Alh. Rukayat Aiyelabegan described education as the best heritage that can be given to the children as they are the hope and future of the country
He said the school had been fully established to provide solid foundation for the younger generation in order to withstand great challenges ahead.
“The school had also been able to accomplish the incorporation of beauty by providing a clean and neat environment to aid conducive learning”
He appealed to parents and guardian to always hasten the payment of tuition fee, as he commended them for the support rendered to the school
The proprietor equally appreciated his father, wife, children, staff members, others for their immense contributions towards the smooth running of the school.
The graduation ceremony also witnessed launching of magazine, talk show, prize giving among others.
